Obituary for Billie G. Childress (Smith)

Billie Childress, age 66, of Greenville, died at 2:40 a.m. Saturday, July 28, 2018 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in O’Fallon.

She was born July 2, 1952 in Shelbyville, IL, the daughter of Ina Rosalie (Selock) Smith of Mode, IL, and the late Frederick Smith. She married Allen Childress. He survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Kelly Shinn of Greenville; two grandchildren: Sloan Childress and Rebel Childress; and two sisters: Karla Mahar of Manchester, TN and Karen Forcum of Mode, IL.

There will be no services.
