James Boyett, age 60, of Maryville, died at 4:30 a.m. Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Highland Healthcare Center in Highland, IL. He was born January 16, 1958 in St. Louis, MO, the son of Patricia (Pickard) Boyett of Collinsville and the late William E. Boyett.
Besides his mother, James is survived by a brother, Jeff Jefferson of Sunrise Beach, MO.
Mr. Boyett was a 1976 graduate of Collinsville High School. He was employed at Cracker Barrel in Troy as a prep chef.

Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Prospect Park United Methodist Church, 9300 Richfield Road, Fairview Heights, IL, with a memorial service immediately following. Memorial contributions may be given to the church or to Living the Adventure Ministries.
