Kelly Casey, age 57, of Belleville, died Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. She was born February 4, 1960 in Belleville, IL, the daughter of the late William and Shirley (Spainhower) Casey.

Kelly is survived by her dear friends Jane Barbeau of Belleville and Richard and Mary Berry of Altadena, CA; and their children, Katherine and Richard Berry, and Diane and Carol Maertens of Belleville, aunt Loretta Casey, her beloved dog Herbie, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Kelly was a graduate of Althoff High School and SIU Edwardsville. Kelly loved children and was a preschool teacher for several years and a nanny to her beloved Katherine and Richard. Kelly was an active member of Calvary Lutheran Church and Via De Cristo. She ministered to the disabled as a member of Victorious Missionaries and Seeds of Hope. Kelly was on the board of the St. Louis Jazz Club and volunteered at the Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows. Kelly was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.

Visitation will be at 5 p.m. Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Calvary Lutheran Church, 6606 W. Main in Belleville followed by a memorial service which will begin at 6:00 p.m. with Rev. Krista Stokke officiating.
