Martha was one of my favorite "Daughter Friends", as she and my Daughter Michelle were involved in activities together which brought Martha to our home in Kankakee, Illinois. She fit into our family like one of us, was so comfortable here...we loved having such a sweet, down to earth young lady visit. We could see a bright future for Martha as she seemed so caring and bright. Although Martha has not been in touch with me (my wife Linda passed in 2015) over the years, she remained a close friend with my Daughter. We are sad that Martha has moved on to this life chapter....a big hole in our hearts as we recall the wonderful person we shared time with.

Martha, was a great teacher and colleague. I remember her coming on board at East Middle School as a home economic teacher. She was quite the professional. She will be missed. My prayers are with her family. Angela Relford, Retired Teacher with ACUSD#11.
