Obituary for Billy G. Starks
Billy G. Starks, age 81, of Belleville, died at 12:01 a.m. Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at Belleville Memorial Hospital.
He was born October 21, 1937 in Nilwood, IL, the son of the late Harry and Verda (Corder) Starks. He married Karen Lynn March 11, 1982. She survives.
Also surviving are his children: Connie (Stewart) Nuckols, Chris (Gwen) Starks, Cheri (Darrell) Hays, Colette (Rob) Spoon, Daniel (Debbie) Starks, Stacy (Kari) Starks and Michelle Bethard; 21 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and one brother, Phil (the late Della) Starks.
Besides his parents, Mr. Starks was preceded in death by two children: Colin and Darrell; one great-grandchild, Cooper; two brothers: Ben and Jack Starks; and two sisters: Barb Ford and Jane Pitchford.
Bill was always in the trucking industry, working most of his life with Truck Centers in Troy and Gateway Trucks in Collinsville.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
