Obituary for Joyce A. Schleifer (Peak)
Joyce A. Schleifer, age 70, of Red Bud, IL, died at 6:25 a.m. Thursday, May 23, 2019 at Red Bud Regional Hospital in Red Bud, IL.
She was born October 4, 1948 in Red Bud, IL, the daughter of the late Orvil and Ruth (Miller) Peak. She married Larry Schleifer December 18, 1965 in Palastine, IL. He survives.
Also surviving are two children: Michael (Katrina) Schleifer of Ogden, UT and Melissa (Craig) Sorce of Wildwood, MO; and three grandchildren: Dylan, Parker and Elijah.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Robert Peak and Thomas Peak.
Private burial of her cremated remains will be held at a later date.
