Obituary for Jean M. Leder (Faitz)
Jean M. Leder, age 82, of Highland, died Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis. She was born September 4, 1935 in Highland, the daughter of the late Harold Faitz and Esther (Wirz) Kious. She married William Leder. He preceded her in death in 1974.
She is survived by four children: Chandra (Bruce) Blumer of Woodstock, IL, Ty (Kathleen) Leder of Highland, Leah (Darren) Klein of Highland and Dawn (Joseph) Shaw of Alton, IL; nine grandchildren: Kyle (Libby) Blumer, Kory (Ella) Blumer, Luke (Jessica) Leder, Audrey (Jacob) Carr, Jessica (Dwayne) Hunt, Erik Klein, Ethan (Ashlee) Klein, Wesley Klein and Evan Klein; and seven great-grandchildren: Kamryn, Riley, Billy, Sammy, Isaac, Avery and Grayson.
Mrs. Leder was a farmer and a homemaker. She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Highland.
A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1777 IL 160 in Highland.
